There are many requirements for this assignment, so read the following details carefully and thoroughly. You are responsible for upholding all source and documentation requirements.
Source Requirements: For this essay, you must use two different TYPES of sources and a minimum of four sources altogether. This means you can use three or more essays from your casebook, but you must also add ONE different source type (see below) for your fourth source. You MUST use at least two essays from the casebook, but you may add other sources beyond those two pieces. You may use as many sources as you wish (four is just a minimum requirement). So, to sum up, you can use:
1) three (or more) essays from your chosen casebook and one additional non-essay source from elsewhere, or
2) two essays from your chosen casebook and two non-essay sources from elsewhere.
Additional source TYPES to choose from: data bases, books, scholarly journal articles, personal interviews, websites (.edu, .org, or .gov sites ONLY). ABSOLUTELY NO WIKIPEDIA OR NON-ACADEMIC WEB SOURCES.
Source Integration: You must include at least one shorter/in-text (less than four lines in the paper) and one extended/block (more than four lines) quotation in your essay. You will probably use mainly in-text quoting and one extended. Do NOT use all long quoations. In-text snippets are most common. One or two quotes per page is adequate.
