Identify a significant employee relations issue
review a selection of newspapers/journals for the current year (2013) (at least one tabloid and one broadsheet). Identify a significant employee relations issue covered during that period, or a topic which you think could have employee relations implications.

In your analysis of the topic you select, you must make reference to the background to the issue (how and why did it arise) and relevant theory as appropriate. Provide a brief evaluation of the resolution of the issue (if appropriate) e.g. has it been resolved? If so, what do you think of the outcome and why. If not, how do you suggest it might be resolved and why?

Secondly, compare the way in which different newspapers/journals have dealt with these issues (editorial stance). Present these key issues to the class, commenting on the editorial perspectives adopted; be prepared to answer questions
