Individual Level Concepts (i.e personality, values, attitudes, motivation) and your results on the IES to analyze your personal capacity in one or more crucial aspects of intercultural competence. You will also discuss the implications for future learning goals and career direction.
Part 1: Creating an IES Profile
a. Your IES Feedback Report guides you through the creation of a profile based on your results (page 9). Find the profile that best fits with your graph. In your own words, describe and reflect on your profile.
b. Identify and describe situations which verified your profile; situations in which your response, feelings, reactions reflected your profile. Are there examples when you displayed behaviors or emotions that would either contradict the profile suggest you adapted your personal tendency towards the situation?

Part 2: General Tendencies
a. Based on the guidelines in your report (page 15-20) chart your general tendencies towards Continuos Learning, Interpersonal Engagement and Hardiness.
b. Combine the results of these and create a one paragraph description about yourself based on your tendencies. This description much be an opening paragraph in a personal portfolio that you would present to a recruiter.

Part 3: Briefly describe your thoughts and feelings about this exercise. Was it useful? If so, in what ways? If not, what would make it more useful for you? Do you think you will continue to work on your intercultural effectiveness? Why/why not?
